“The Rio Grande Valley community has resisted LNG (liquefied natural gas) for over ten years, spanning the administrations of Obama, Trump, and Biden. We are not backing down now. Just this week, we have been exploring our legal options and discussing efforts to organize and continue advocating for environmental justice in the Rio Grande Valley. This means that frontline and BIPOC and Native communities like ours need increased funding to support this important work. We will also continue to connect with other communities around the world that are affected by LNG and promote an international boycott of fracked gas, which will be pushed by the racist Trump administration.”
